Toronto get

Ron Francis, Ken Klee, Brian Leetch, Ed Belfour, Trevor Kidd, Owen Nolan, Joe Nieuwendyk, Calle Johansson and now you can fit in Alexei Ponikarovsky!

Ottawa get

Peter Bondra and Greg De Vries, and now Jason Spezza. How is Ottawa now better?

This from a team that has played below 500 since the all star break? they have gone 500 for feb, 500 for march so far and you think that they will finish second? Come on, but what do you except from a leaf fan......asylum time for you i think.........

The leafs will finish no higher than 6th and probably will finish 7th.........they wont even meet the Habs in the 1st round, it will go like this

Flyers

Bruins

Ottawa

Jersey

Habs

Leafs

Sabres

Tampa beats the Sabres in 5

Flyers beat the Leafs in 5

Habs defeat the Bruins in 7

Ottawa defeats the devils in 6

Habs beat Tampa in 7

Hmmm every seems to think montreal is a warm up. Last time they killed Boston the team was 10 times worst than it is now. Need i remind you when they won the cup in 93 they had almost the same formula as they do now? A hot rookie a hot goaltender and 2 hot centers one being the captain and another as good if not better and although not the best defence they still performed...

Look and compare the 93 team and todays team and you'll see simalarities and see that teh team is better than in 93 aswell

Tampa is only good cause they're in a shitty division...sure i would of said that too if they werent competing from the presidents trophy...which mean you're on top of the rest of the league

As it stands right now

-Tamba over Isles in 7..i think the isles will be tough

-Habs over philly in 6...philie's a great team just lacking a good goalie...no match for Theo

-Jersey over Boston in 5 Raycroft is awsome but this wont be their year...the cup is in the near future for the bruins though

-ottawa over toronto in 6...Francis, belfour, leetch nieuwendyk all break a hip, Tucker will miss 3 games with a broken nail cause he'll be trying to argue it as assault to the nhl for 3 games and Kidd will let in 12 goals in 1...ga...no wait period

Lets hed on to the west shall we

-Detroit over nashville in 4 is there a doubt here

-Colorado over LA in 6

-about San Jose and Calgary i cant pick i see them as similar teams...San jose might have a small edge in experience but then again calgary might have that edge in goaltending

Vancouver over dallas in 6...then vcancouver gets swept in the 2nd round

If Philly proved that they're tough enough by beating Toronto, than Ottawa obviously proved that they are tough enough by beating Philly.

Every series is a tough series, therefore if a team can't make it through one series they will never be able to win the cup. The road to the cup is not easy, and one of the challenges a team has to overcome is being able to battle through injuries to win. Philly hasn't proven that.

This is honestly the best Habs team in a long time. They've improved pretty much everywhere.

Goalie - Theodore is having a terrific rebound season and is easily one of the best in the NHL.

Defence - Souray had had breakout year. Plus Brisebois has picked up his game big time.

Offence - They have 2 very lethal first lines. Kovalev/Ryder/ribeiro and Koivu/Zednik/Perrault. They have never use to have that good offence. This team is big time improved from one year ago. I tip my hat to Gainey and Julien. Good job.

geez, another leaf fanatic. boy, counting out those dreaded bruins all ready. dropping from third to fifth in ten games. how are those leafs going to win the cup when they’ve been faltering of late. 3-2 loss to pit at home. tomorrow nights tilt will tell us something. as with any predictions, they can be bold. you stick your neck out. that’s cool but with all you leaf fans and your way of thinking age before beauty. they won’t last mission 16. too damn old. eddies back.? oh and just wait until bergeron and samsonov are back in the bruins line up. you know they have the least amount of reg. losses in the league right? actually it is probably better that people don’t take the bruins seriously. less pressure.
