The Coyotes to Turrn it up?

As you’re probable aware, the Coyotes are in the market to trade Turris, but where could young Kyle fit? The answer: many many places. No doubt, he’s got a set of hands (see shootout goal vs. Nathan Lawson), but whats the price for such a player, who, to a certain extent, has underacheived. No, hes not terrible, nor is he fantastic. He certainly has potential though.
BTW, thanks for all the support of my Nashty Trade article 🙂

Here are some thoughts:

To Edmonton (like they need another yong star)
Kyle Turris

To Phoenix
Ladislav Smid
3rd in 2012

To Phoenix
Shawn Matthias
Tomas Fleishman
3rd in 2013

To Florida
Kyle Turris
Shane Doan
Oliver Ekman-Larssen

Ekman Larssen would be a great fit in FLA btw

To Detroit
Kyle Turris

To Phoenix
Tomas Holmstrom
Patrick Eaves

Phoenix GM Maloney: "If [Kyle Turris] wants to play in the NHL this season, he will re-sign with us," and "We will not trade his rights under any cir*****stances and are prepared to live with the consequences if he decides to sit out this, and future, seasons."

I know we can't exactly trust every word out the the mouth of a GM, this is pretty explicit.

As an aside: where did the banner go? Maybe took it down to put Turris up there.  *face-palm*

If Maloney made that trade with Fla he would be shot and pissed on… sided so badly Cgy would suddenly feel better for the Phaneuf deal…

haha no kidding that FLA trade is just bad. I don't think any of those offers would get it done. Even if the GM caves and trades Turris, he will want to be well over-paid for him. Also, EDM wont give up a D to get yet another centerman.

    Wow at that Florida trade.
