i dont think dallas would make a deal to get burke, on they quote that

“In other Stars’ injury news, goaltender Marty Turco is reportedly at least two weeks away from returning from his ankle sprain.”

So they say turco should be coming back soon. dallas should not be in any rush to run out and get a new goalie, especially burke. Burke should be traded to a team who needs a starter, not a new back up. Most teams backups arnt as great as there starters, thats why there getting paid less, and playing less. But when you have a great goalie like turco, and a great team like dallasm ur backup doesnt have to be the greatest.

Why don’t you people actually type out an article with your own goddamned words instead of just posting a stinking web adress?? This is really pissing me off!! Take a little time and think something out! Christ people stop being so lazy! And Peroni and Trademan why are you posting this?

  5. mikster says:

It’s a trade rumor. Burke to Dallas. Nothing special about it, just pretty straight forward. No ideas to put in it really.

    There ya go.

They coulda done something! Given some opinion/insight! Something! Lazy!

Do you have PMS or something? Your always bitching about something… You dont like it dont read it….

this is stupid. the stars will not be doing anything to get burke, they know that turco will be back in a couple of weeks. tugnutt hasn’t been playing his best, but neither has the rest of the team. the reason why they are 2-2-3-1 in the past 7 games is because they don’t play the same in front of tugnutt as they do in front of turco.

they have enough confidence in tuggy to do what he needs to do, he knows this, the rest of the team knows this.

    Yes you still do suck!

  11. titans says:

“Don’t read it”? Don’t read what?!?! There’s nothing to read!! So shut your pie hole Westside (whata stupid name!) and go back to dreaming of Leafs trades that’ll never happen!!

  12. TC_4 says:

Did anybody hear the actual reason WHY their looking at Burke??? They said that Turco’s ankle is worst then originally thought, and he could be out for a long time. They wouldn’t be asking about him if Turco was comming back in two weeks. That’s why you people are on a website and aren’t GM’s!

  13. titans says:

I think everyone understands that fact.

  14. Tradedude says:

Like Dallas doesn’t already have enough great goalies. Burke will be a 2nd or 3rd stringer if Dallas lands him.

I think St.Louis should be in the hunt for Burke, he’ll defineately get playing time, Sanford is good, but he won’t last much longer.

  15. nskerr says:

In a roundabout way, this might be good for the Isles. If St. Louis were the only team that wanted Burke, a deal could probably be hammered out. But with competiton for him, teams will have to explore other options. With Osgood coming back, I would think one of the 3 goalies will generate interest that could allow the Isles to acquire either a strong d-man or a sniper.

  16. TC_4 says:

I should hope so, but the two knobs that commented before said that Turco was back in two weeks, and that Gretzky was comming back to play for the Thrashers.
