Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that the best free tool for your hockey pool will be back again for it’s 5th year!

As a matter of fact I just started updating it this week-end.

Go inside to see how you can contribute to the Ultimate Pool PreviewOnce again this year, the main formula stays the same which is: Compiling all those hockey mags prediction to make it one as accurate as possible stat for next season.

If you want to help, here’s how you can:

Scan or copy a magazine/website projected scorers, goalies or teams for next season and send it to me at the following adress:

Right now I already have the following:

-The Hockey News

-Hockey, the Magazine

This year I am looking for BETA TESTERS, so if you are good at MICROSOFT EXCEL, willing to help out and you are serious about it, drop me a mail with ”Beta Tester” in the subject field. I’ll pick 5 persons who will receive the UPP before everyone else and might see their ideas make it to the project.

Since 2001, thousands of poolers used the Ultimate Pool Preview to help them win their hockey pool.

Thank you for your interest.

My 1st round draft pick is Malkin

  2. Francis10 says:

What a waste of a pick, in the 1st round anyways.

  3. mafew says:

My first pick is Wade Belak

    – good thread though…. I’ll scan my ESPN mag when it comes out, I assume next month or so

  4. FrankTheTank3388 says:

Yeah, seriously that is the worst 1st round pick ever. First off, you don’t even know if he’ll even succeed in the NHL level. Secondly, most people in public pools, or at least those who don’t follow hockey to the extent of knowing all the prospects, don’t even know who he is and he will be ranked very low to begin with. Last year on Yahoo I drafted Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin as my last two picks. They ended up dominating and it was perfect because nobody else knew who they were so I picked them up at the end, getting the other veterans in the beginning.

if you want first round picks im going with. Spezza Heatley Ovechkin Crosby. Defence ill Take Phaneuf/pronger/liles/niedermayer and goalies ill take brodeur or lehtonen.

    svatos is amazing

  12. TheProfessor says:

sorry mate, ovechkin wasn’t on the yahoo pool until after the season started. I know because I was second in waiver line to get him after the season started and missed out.

  13. bleedingblu says:

…he has potential of being amazing no doubt about that but I would play it safe and pick up an Ovechkin or a Heatley, Spezza, Jagr, or even Cheechoo.

  14. Francis10 says:

I don’t know what yahoo pool you were playing in, because I drafted him 1 in the second round and the season was still 4 days away….

He was available before the season started, he just might have been ranked in the low 300s…

  15. gg_idiot says:

There are like 60 players I would draft before Svatos

  16. passionch says:

    60 is about right.

  17. Beattie says:
