Tid Bits from the Edmonton Journal

Faceoff.com and the Edmonton Journal are downplaying any possible speculation that Jaromir Jagr will be on the move despite having an off season and the fact that he will most likely be a free agent this summer.

As part of the article, Glen Sather mentions that Jagr has a no trade clause in his contract and he has not and will not be asking him to waive this clause. As a result and we believe what he is saying we can put to rest the rumors that Jagr may be on the move by tomorrow afternoon.

Of particular interest in this article is that it is speculated that the Sharks may make a move for Dan Cloutier of the LA Kings to back up Nabokov.

Why would the Sharks make amove for Cloutier to back up nabokov?  Cloutier has not been the same since he left Vancouver where he wasn't even that solid to begin with.  I hate to say it, because for some reason I kinda like the guy, but Cloutier is not an nhl calibre goaltender anymore.

Jagr is one of the players kidnapped by aliens 2 summers ago.  Why do you think he has problems skating all of a sudden?  It's from all the experiments.  Norad and the Secret Service already know this.
