Trade Rumour Between Van/NJ
Someone on HFboards is reporting something he heard this on XM radio.
Just heard on XM Satalite Radio that there is a breaking trade that is about to go down between the Devils and Canucks. This is the deal that was mentioned:
To Canucks:
Patrik Elias
Erik Rasmussen or a defensemen
To Devils:
Brendan Morrison
Mattias Ohlund
1st Round Pick
Apperently , right now the deal depends on Ohlund waiving his NTC to go to the swamp and also the deal must go to the Devils owner for approval as usually the case when a team trades their best player.
Personally are the Devils absolutley nuts!?!? Has Lamerello lost his mind?? Trading Elias for Morrison and Ohlund!! That isin’t a bad return for Elias but just the fact that you just lost Gomez and now dealing Elias , leaving Gionta/Parise/Zajac/Morrison/Zubrus as their offensive core.
