Would Kadri + the Leafs’ first pick for Seguin make sense for both teams?

Why would Boston trade the greatest player in league history?

Looks like a good trade by the Leafs to get pest Dave Bolland.

I love the Bolland deal, but I wonder if that guarantees Bozak is gone? It certainly could, but I wonder if he doesn’t get the money he wants, can you move Grabovski to the wing?

The reason I think this is because I think its possible Bozak hits the open market and doesn’t get the money he was hoping for and re-considers the Leafs offer in the 4 million or so range.

I mean looking at the teams, and the centres possibly available, do you really think there will be enough of a bidding war for Bozak for him to get 5 million on a 6 year deal? I kind of think with the cap going down, and guys like Lecalvier, Briere, Weiss, Roy, and Rebeiro all available, I don’t know that it will make any sense, especially when you throw in a few teams that are apparently shopping centers, I don’t know that he will get the attention he thought.

I would be interested in trying it if Bozak came for 4 million. Grabovski plays with enough grit and speed to be a winger, and is more of a shoot first guy with a ton of heart. Even if it was to try and pump up his value to move that contract.

kadri could also be moved to the wing, being weakest on draws and still possessing the speed skill and grit, it will also allow him to not concentrate so much on his defensive duties coming with being a center
