Wade Belak OUT of Toronto??

Rumours have been flying that Toronto Coach Paul Maurice is very upset with enforcer Wade Belak and has asked Toronto GM JFJ to bring him in a new enforcer who can get the job done. The anger for Belak started after Belak apparently told Maurice that he didn’t really feel like fighting in Toronto’s last game against Ottawa after Maurice asked him to go protect Darcy (Tucker). Apparently Belak was also asked by Tucker and Mike Peca if he could help them out a little bit by possibly cooling down Chris Neil a bit. Belak then apparently shook his head and moved to a different seating position on the bench beside Ian White and Brendan Bell. This infuriated Maurice who apparently called out Belak after the game and then asked Ferguson to find him a new enforcer 1 day later. According to rumours Ferguson has obliged and is in talks with teams about enforcers Eric Godard of Calgary, Brandon Sugden of Columbus, Derek Boogaard of Minnesota, Colton Orr of NYR, Eric Cairns of Pittsburgh, Josh Gratton of Phoenix, and Mitch Fritz of Tampa Bay. Maurice has also apparently looked at the possibility of waiving Belak and calling up one of either Kip Brennan, Nathan Perrott, Brad Brown or Kris Newbury of the Marlies.
