What a day

Ever have a little computer glitch??? HTR had a database meltdown this morning that was not able to sort of be resolved until just now. What does this mean for HTR … we are now back at April for most of the stories … but now ready to move ahead. All systems are a go and I will talk to my server host to see if we can arrange it so that this problem does not happen again.

Darn this was stressful for me. The entire collection of over 10,000 stories went down. It took a lot of time and a ton of stress to resolve this. Wow … that sucked.

The Comments are still not resolved. Hopefully this will be fixed soon too.

    It's a conspiracy!

Kramer, what was the real reason for the "accidental" meltdown/glitch?

Was it that they had had enough of all my perfect predictions and wanted the proof eliminated?

I'm curious to know how you define "perfect?"  Do tell.

Don't you keep regular database backups?

Find me an incorrect prediction or analysis since January. Seriously. On my most recent post I post links to two old articles:

Are we seeing the new Pens dynasty's beginnings?
Can the East beat the West? the analysis concluding that the Pens are the East's best team and best shot at winning the Cup for the East.

hmm… my only wrong 'prediction' of late is the Sharks beating the Stars in the First Round. Otherwise, once the Pens and Wings win, I'll be 13/14.

    There are countless others.

    Price vs. Fleury

    Pens defense vs. Habs defense

Gonchar's defensive play (you see his play in Game 3) and why he woulda been deserving as a Norris Finalist.

    Fleury in general.

    The Hossa trade.

The Red Wings and Osgood's superiority over Dallas and the Stars, and the Red Wings greatness and NON-playoff chokes in general.

Honestly, neither I nor any of my detractors on here can find anything 'wrong' with what I've said in the past several months.

So yes, I'd call that perfect.

Swallow your pride and jump on the BruMagnus bandwagon. It will lead you to glory and financial success (as it has for others).
