Listen, Jagr is a great player, and he might make guys around him look better while on the ice, but no where near the way Forsberg does.]]>
Jags too has had some injuries, (the most he missed was 23 games in 01-02 with the caps) but nothing compared to Foppa.]]>
Forsberg is the best all round player in the world when he is healthy. But his style of play leads to injury.
Forsberg’s game is more adaptable to the 01-03 clutch and grab NHL. Jagr is more suited to the 92-95 wide open NHL.
So the who is better question I think really depends on the style of play and the duration of time over which one measures success. Forsberg is better in the seven game death match series. Jagr is better in the five years of open hockey.]]>
