Wild Shopping Fernandez???
In the not very surprising announcement of the day category Minnesota Wild G.M. Doug Risebrough has announced that goalie Manny Fernandez is available at the right price.
Although it is not specifically mentioned what the right price for Fernandez will be HTR believes that there is a good chance that the Wild will move Fernandez at this years draft for draft picks. It just does not really make any sense to head into unrestricted shopping season carrying the extra millions of dollars in team salary if they know that he is to going to be their top goalie next year.
HTR believes that the Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes or the LA Kings will make a move. Expect little more than a 2nd round pick to land Fernandez and his huge contract.
