looks like all the talk of his “great offer” from the team in russia that was “huge” and “tax free” worked out will on his half of the negotiation.

    nice move by his agent.

Wings had no choice but to sign him with the prospect of Larinov, Yzerman and Federov all potentially GONE next season.

Cujo could be traded for a center

It’ll be hard to trade Cujo. Avs may show interest….but Avs and Wings won’t trade easily.

In the end, only a couple of teams can afford Cujo, and that may force the Wings to put him on waivers.

Wings may be facing a lot of turbulance.

highest bidder in the east, detroit will have to eat some of cujo 8 mill if they are serious about hasek

If Hasek does make a comeback look for the Wings to trade Joseph to Philly. With Fedorov and Larionov making an exit this year the Wings need to acquire a centerman. They could send Joesph to Philly for possibly Handzus and a pick, or Primeau and a pick. The Flyers could possibly trade Williams as well. Dont look for the Wings to trade Joseph to the Avs. They are there biggest rival, Colorado doesn’t have a proven #1 goalie. Detroit wont simply hand one over. (not saying Joesph is a proven playoff goalie however)

    Go AVS Go!!

i dont think there is much of a chance that the wings can pick up phillys captain for cujo, Hanzus is probably the best skater they would give up, maybe some prospects. crazier things have happened though.

    go leafs

    that’s idealistic bullshit

I can’t see the Av’s showing ANY interest. I really can’t see any teams going for him, unless Detroit pays half his salary and he goes to an Eastern Division team.

I think Boston is the only team out east that could use him (Flyers want a playoff goalie). I think the B’s could get him for a draft pick and pay only half his salary— it could happen.

Yes, the Wings are in trouble but Hasek makes them competitive again.
