A way to save Canadian Hockey!!!
Canadian hockey is sadly dying in the NHL, as the only strong market teams are the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. Why doesn’t the Canadian owners create a new league, with just Canadian teams: the CNHL (Canadian National Hockey League).
They could probably start with the Original Six (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers). In the next few years, they could add the Winnipeg Jets and the Quebec Nordiques. I also think they should add two teams in Halifax and Regina. I really hope that they could think about doing this.
