Briere awarded, big time!
According to tsn, Briere was awarded a 1 year 5-million dollar salary as a result of his arbitration case.
This is based on salaries of other players (Havlat anyone?) with similar seasons last year.
Still according to TSN, this could result in a lot of movement in Buffalo, with Montreal, Los Angeles and Atlanta looking to be the frontrunners for Briere’s services at this point.
