Over the past few days there have been stirrings of deals going on between the devils and canucks as well as 2 free agent signigns of Yashin and Guerin:

1. Bill Guerin (from spector’s rumors)

- VANCOUVER PROVINCE: Ben Kuzma reports Canucks GM Dave Nonis held discussions with the agent for UFA winger Bill Guerin earlier in the week but Nonis hasn’t made an offer yet.

- Yashin I am told is also getting looks from Montreal and Vancouver.

VANCOUVER PROVINCE: Tony Gallagher reports of “rumours around the league” of a possible trade between the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils involving Brendan Morrison and Patrik Elias.

- The Canucks are also in the market to make a deal…And one of the latest has a package that would send Ohlund and players to NJ for Elias.
