Eminger unhappy in Washington

The Washington Post is reporting that former first round pick Steve Eminger is upset with the Capitals but “has stopped short of asking for a trade – yet.”

Apparently the Capitals sat Eminger for the start of the season despite having recovered from a weak ankle and even when he did return to the line up he has not been playing the sort of minutes that he desires. He feels that he is clearly not part of the Capitals plans and that if he is not going to be able to play he should at least be moved somewhere where he will get a chance to play.

Washington G.M. George McPhee indicates in the article that he has no plans to move Eminger however we all know that plans can change in a real hurry and that no G.M. would tell the media that he has plans to move a player.
