Forsberg Skating with Swedish Team
Peter Forsberg is skating again with his hometown team in Sweden. He says his ankle is good so far and that he is in constant contact with his doctor.
If Forsberg returns to the NHL this season who do you think he will play for? Some people speculate that he will sign with the Flyers. Right now the Flyers are leading the Atlantic Division at the All-Star break. The Flyers have enough salary cap space to sign Forsberg for the rest of the season. I’m sure they will drop Jim Dowd to make room for Forsberg. The Flyers are playing well and they are without Joffrey Lupul, who is out with a concussion/spinal cord injury. On what line will Forsberg play? The Flyers are playing well ( except against NJ ) right now. Will getting Forsberg hurt the teams chemistry or help it? That is a tough decision for Holgren to make.
