There’s really not much to comment on. I’m not a big Jason Wooley fan but the Habs do need another D-man for insurance until Bouillon gets back, may as well be a big and cheap one.

We have Streit and Cote to replace Bouillon, why would we need Wooley?

  3. habswinthecup-again says:

I cannot see him being any better tha Streit.

Wooley would fill in the gap left by Bouillon but I think we should let Streit more ice-time to showcase his real skills. We know Streit is a great leader and good player on the big surface (Captain of the Swiss team) but he needs more time in the NHL rink to be the player he should be.

Why get Woolley when we have Cote sitting, ready for some NHL time? I really don’t see why Gainey would need to sign him, unless he really does believe no one in Hamilton is quite ready to step up yet.
