    Ott: Kyle Beach
Chi: Kuba, Chris Kelly, Cody Bass

declined… I don't think Kelly is the Center they are looking for, over priced, and set to get a little over 20 points this year.

Kuba is set to be a FA and while a very good I don't think the Hawks want to lose beach over him.

    Cody Bass is nothing either.

    wow
dont you think your overvaluing beech just a little

I am looking at the deal from a team need standpoint.  Beach is their top prospect. Why trade him for two centers they don't need… they have their 3rd and 4th line centers in Bolland and Fraser, which means Kelly and Bass are not at all needed, especially Kelly's 2+ Million dollar contract/cap hit.

And as I said before Kuba is good, but set to be a UFA this year plus the Hawks have Cam Barker, Campbell and Keith with similar stats and games.

So to answer your question if i think I am overvaluing Beach (again Chicago's best prospect) because I would not take a bunch of players that Chicago really does not need, I am gonna say no….

It actually has little to do with Beach himself, more so with the fact that you have to find a teams needs before you propose a trade.  Chicago needs a good second line center not two more 3rd/4th line guys and a UFA defensemen who is putting up similar numbers to 3 of  the teams defensemen.

that was suppose to go as a reply to the person replying to my comment above.

Yeah, there is no way the Hawks make that trade unless Ottaw throws in a draft choice or a nice prospect of their own. Beach is excatly what the Sens need to play on their second line with Fisher, maybe I'll sweeten the deal up a bit for the Hawks. Kinda a playoff deal for Chicago, with some future for them.

    Chi: Kuba, Comrie, 2nd 2010, 4th 2009.
    Ott: Beach.
