According to the Columbus Distpatch, the ownership team of the Blue Jackets want to turn some heads by bringing in a well known, and successful coach. Suspected names on he list have already been speculated numerous times. Hitch*****, Quinn, Murray are expected to be on the ‘short list’. I just also came to wonder if “Iron Mike” might be on that list as well.
One interesting development is that owner John H. McConnell,his son, John P. McConnell, the club’s alternate governor, and Mike A. Priest, president of JMAC Inc., the Blue Jackets’ parent company will be the one’s determining the replacement and have the final say. I think this speaks volumes about just how thin the ice is that MacLean is currently treading on.
