Leafs to make McCabe Last offer.
The Leafs will make one last offer to Brian McCabe worth 5.5 million per season (4 years)
If McCabe does reject this offer, I am told he will be traded by the deadline.

He then goes on to say:
Sources from the Leafs front office also tell me that the board has told JFJ that the playoffs are a must, leaving JFJ in a really tough position. JFJ has been looking to get younger.
Not too sure how good the source is, but it sounds like it could be true. This guy nailed both the Rose trade and the Francis trade in the NBA. If McCabe does not sign with the Leafs it stands to reason he would be traded instead of risking losing him in the summer for nothing.
