NHL and KHL (a scary future)

How they can co-exist because that might be the only way. NHL must wake up. Right now, only the NHL rejects are going to Russia but over time, it will grow and the KHL will be big. Can the NHL adapt? Heres my thinking. yeh right now only minor players are going to the KHL from the NHL. Player that cant land a job in the NHL, old players looking to continue their career and a few Russians looking to be at home… will that last though? remember the KHL is fairly new. It will grow and one day it will grab big NHL stars. How will the NHL adapt? They must wake up and see reality.

for example, Ovechkin threatened to quit the NHL if it meant he cant play for team Russia in his home country in 2014 i think. Well, if he quits, where will he go, retirement?… I dont think so. He will go to the KHL. Then the dominoes will start to fall. KHL just needs one big star for this to happen. Jagre, Yashin or Rudolov arent gonna cut it.

I say why not interact with the KHL. for example, maybe an all-star game with NHL-vs-KHL format or maybe a second championship, where the NHL champions face the KHL champions? Yeh they NHL would stay the same and it would mean even bigger revenues. Also make a sort of agreement on player contracts. hey, maybe even something very bold like inter-league trades or fees like in European soccer.

…………. though i know what ur all thinking. it would be like promoting the KHL and actully griwing it but I think that is gonna happen anyway, like it or not.

It might seem out of the world, but im bassing it on the Europe system for Soccer teams.

AmI too far off?
