good decision by the sabres, he’s an underrated defenceman and they need him.

What is going on with the colorado avalanche? Are they going to sign somebody else besides Arnason?

Sabres need a replacement for McKee and some depth on defense, I see a couple of trades in their future.

The Leafs have an abundance of NHL ready defensive depth, Regier should get JFJ’s number.

So, tell me why either team would trade within the division, and on what planet would the Sabres want any of Toronto’s defensemen? Aside from Kubina anyway that is. Think you’ll pass Hal Gill onto us? Haha, fat chance we’d take him for free. Nobody wants to trade players they’ll play against 8 times a year unless there really was no other option.

Didn’t stop the Leafs and bruins or flames and avs from making deals…..

And in terms of dealing defenseman, I’m talking more about guys like Colaiacovo, Pilar, White, Harrison, Kronwall, Bell, Wozniewski, Vorobiev all of these guys are nhl ready with only 2-3 roster spots possibly available after Gill, Kubina, Kaberle and McCabe take the first 4 and Belak possibly takes the 7th defenseman role.

Possibly young nhl ready defensemen for young nhl ready forwards, or forwards Buffalo cannot or will not sign that the Leafs may be interested in.

Its just a thought, no need to get your panties in a bunch.

On second thought, the Sabres should make a run at Danny Markov he would be perfect for that defense corp now that McKee is gone. Or maybe a Brian Leetch or Luc Richardson.
