Seabrook Out Of the Windy City?

According to Spectorstraderumors and the Chicago Blackhawks are willing to part ways with prospect defenceman Brent Seabrook in order to obtain a second line centre or a promising young centre. The teams beleived to be interested are Edmonton, Philadelphia, Ottawa, and Minnesota. hockeybuzz claims to have this from an extremely solid source. It is also speculated that this will go fast or not at all, and that three other teams (that are unknown) are also putting together mega packages.

    I call BS.

Seabrook is one of the best Dmen prospects there are right now. Chi will not be trading him.

    Hockeybuzz can f itself.

OMG I hope the Oilers end up with Seabrook. He is exactly what they need for next season. I would even give up Pouliot for him.

That would be a pretty even trade IMO.

Sure it's possible Seabrook could be traded, but I doubt he will be. Dion Phaneuf is expendable if Calgary were offered the right deal for him. Seabrook would cost a heavy return from whoever gets him in Chicago sends him away.

I can GARUNTEE!! that the canucks are putting something together to try and obtain this guy and probably bryan smolinski along with him.. Dave Nonis said he will part with alot of assets for a guy that he knows will be sticking around and brent seabrook is definatly that guy. I know that Nonis was very interested in him about a month back so i dont think thats changed at all up to this point.
