Sundin STAYING in T.O. for the rest of the season.

If Mats Sundin dosen’t retire before the end of the season, reported that Sundin likes it in Toronto and wants to stay there for the rest of the 2007-08 season. And since he has a NTC, the Leafs can’t decide whether they want to trade him or not. He said Toronto is his home, and he said while he was playing in Toronto, he never considered playing anywhere else. So, stop making up rumours about Sundin being traded somewhere else!

We all know that Sundin has a NTC, and we obviously all know that he doesnt want to go anywhere! But if the Leafs are out by the Trade Deadline we are contemplating whether or not the Leafs should ask him if hes willing to be traded to help the team rebuild! no one is making up rumours if u read the full story

if this is based on my article, i never made a rumor, i gave my input and for the most, everyone seemed to agree with me that if the Leafs are out of contention by the deadline he should be traded for 2 reasons, The biggest reason is this guy deserves a Stanley cup and im sure many Leaf fans would truely go cheer for the team Sundin is on (if he gets traded) and secondly for the Leafs future. They dont have a great future ahead of them and if their our of a playoff spot come March, why not trade him? So he can retire as a Leaf? Retire as a Leaf or not, he'll go down as the top 3 Leafs of all time and in my opinion the Greatest Leaf of all time.

He's gonna say that at this point. It doesn't mean anything. If he didn't stay he plans on staying it would be the same as saying "yeah theres a good chance were not gonna make it so I might get traded."
