Good trade.  "Big Joe" was not so big in Nashville.  Vasicek is big guy who plays like a small guy.  Looks like a fair deal for sides in regard to the needs of both teams.

I would say Nashville won this one but we will have to wait and see how they play on their new teams.

So the canes have traded Jack Johnson, Oleg Tverdovsky and Scott Walker for Tim Gleason. i'd say they havent made the best of moves.

Wow, how great is management in Nashville, too bad they can't fill the stands. They understand how this league works. Getting Bélanger is another step in the right direction, since this guy is another gritty, hard working player. At the same time, they're getting rid of a lazy, underachieving guy. The have nothing left to do but to go and win a cup.

Actually the trade was Johnson, Tverdovsky for Gleason and Belanger

    They traded Vacicek for Walker.

That would make the deal a three way with Johnson, Tverdovsky to LA (Via Car), (Via Nsh)Walker and (via LA)Gleason to Carolina and Belanger(via LA) to Nashville.

LA gives up Gleason and Belanger for Johnson and Tverdovsky

Carolina gives up Johnson, Tverdovsky for Walker and Gleason

    Nashville trades Walker for Belanger

what i mean is that to get gleason they ended up losing walker, johnson and oleg. vasicek they already had 5 months ago.

  7. RealisticNick says:

They did not lose Walker, he is with them right now
