Youngstars or Youngrinders game?

When you look at the Eastern forward line-up for this year’s Youngstar game, with the exception of Niklas Backstrom, I’m wondering if the term “star” is appropriate to define such a group of grinders. Young and promising grinders I would pick any day on my team, but still grinders…

I find it very unfair but mostly astonishing that David Clarkson and Brandon Dubinsky (who played a few games in 2006-2007) as well as Milan Lucic and Tyler Kennedy (replaced by Clarkson) get invited to the Youngstar game while neither of the Habs’ Kostsitsyn bros gets the invitation.

Andrei K. is not rookie-eligible this year, and it seems they don’t invite sophomores anymore to that game, so I can understand it. But Sergei K. has 10 points in 18 games while Clarkson has 13 in 47!! Correct me if I’m wrong, but David, Milan, Tyler & Brandon don’t seem to own high-end offensive potential, so why the hell do they get invited to play against the Kane, Gagner, Perron and others while Sergei K. gets overlooked???

I’m not making a huge deal out of this, but if any of you have an explanation for this, please enlighten me…
