Canada's Team … The Ottawa Senators?
I came across an interesting article on TSN and it really got me thinking. I fully understand the whole notion of how the Senators are the only Canadian team left and how they should are Canada’s team and how the whole nation is supporting them to bring the Cup back where it belongs. However I just don’t see this happening.
In previous years, most notably the last two playoffs I supported the Flames and Oilers and the other Canadian teams that made the playoffs to go all the way. However this year in every round of the playoffs I had wanted the Sens to get eliminated and I don’t see it being any different for the finals. This has nuthin to do with being a Habs fan or anything. I personally feel that the majority of the players on that team are arrogant and are filled with abundance of *****iness … there’s just nothing about them that makes them Canadian and thus the majority of our great nation is supporting the Ducks.
