Canucks Still in hunt for Forberg
The Vancouver Sun is reporting that the Canucks are said to still be in the running for Forsberg.
Dave Nonis recently traveled to Sweden and it is highly speculated that he is trying to do what ever he can to reunite Forsberg with his childhood friend Markus Naslund. Naslund and Forsberg still hold records from the World Junior championships in which Nalund scored 13 goals and Forsberg got 31 points. Although referred to in the article a problem right now for the Canucks could be that they are presently sitting outside the playoff picture as they have been decimated by injuries. In their last game they only had 1 of 6 regular defenseman in their lineup.
