Leafs to target Daniel and Henrik Sedin?
On the CBC satellite Hotstove last night it was discussed that they believe that Burke will target the Sedin twins this upcoming offseason.
It is well known that Burke likes to bring in players that he is familiar with and it is rumored that the Leafs will target the Sedin brothers who have spent their entire careers in Vancouver. While GM of the Canucks Burks swing a huge deadline deal to be able to draft the two players out of Sweden together and it is well known that the twins do not want to be separated.
The discussion came up on Satellite Hotstove surrounding the possible players who are set to become unrestricted and who play center. The other name that was mentioned was Andy McDonald.
What do you think … are the Sedins the right fit for the Leafs and what would you offer them per season? It is believed that they want a long term deal in the 6 -7 million range each.
