For the record I am an extremely avid Leafs fan but I live a two hour plane ride away so luckily I don’t live in a fantasy…my every word is not curbed by the fact I assume the Leafs will win the cup this year on the backs of experienced veterans such as Wendel Clark, Rick Vaive, Mats Sundin, and Mike Palmateer. I don’t…that’s completely ridiculous. For the record I’ve picked the Leafs to finish in the basement of their division and probably only in 11th or 12th place.

I will point out for my 3 articles…of which I was doing everyone here a favor by getting minds rolling early…that I have had 2 errors over 3 articles. (1) That Antero Niitymaki is 27, not 30. (2) That Francois Beauchemin signed a 2 year contract extension this summer. Pretty decent when you consider I’m human and that over a few hundred names I’m bound to mess up once or twice. Also, remember I got my information from www.hockeyanalysis.com so they might have messed up too (as they did in the Beauchemin case, and possibly with Ryan Smyth). Say there’s 200 players I listed…198/200 is 99%…not bad…so shut the **** up with bullsh*ting my articles just because of my chosen prefered team.
