Arvedson doesn't like what he's getting

The Toronto Sun is reporting that Magnus Arvedson, has been contacted by over 10 teamsOut of those 10 teams, 4 of them have offered him a deal, he has turned down all of them.

He says “I don’t wanna play for any of those teams. They’re not good enough and I don’t think my family would like it in any of those cities. I want to go to a good team in a nice city, that’s all I can say right now.”

The teams are not specified, but it’s been said that the following teams have reportedly been interested in Arvedson:

New York Rangers

Atlanta Thrashers

San Jose Sharks

St. Louis Blues

Toronto Maple Leafs

He says that he currently has an offer for one year with the Leafs, that is “still on the table”, but he wants a 3 year deal worth something around $7.5 Million, which would be an average of $2.5 Million a year, 56.3% more than his previous salary of $1.6 Million with the Ottawa Senators.

I used to live out in Long Beach, well my father did, and I’d got out and play hockey over at the recreational center. Good rink for puck, need soft wheels though. I lived out in Lindenhurst and played street with ball over at Venetian Shores, and in Massapequa, right off of Sunrise highway up the block from Kohl’s on Unqua St. or Blvd. there’s a rink at Margorie Post Park, smooth cement, puck playable. If you live out west on the Island, and if you see this, reply and if you can get some people, we’ll get some games going, down there we can get up to like 40 people when the weather’s nice enough.

Yeah, I’m a Ranger fan and I’ve been to the coliseum many times, but the Islanders actually practice at Iceworks in Syosset. I know some people who have hookups and know people that work there who have gotten autographs from the Isles themselves. But you’re right, we don’t live in a metropolis. Manhattan of course is packed, but Magnus wouldn’t have to live in Manhattan. Kovalev lives in Brighton Beach, Kasparaitis lives in Northport which is out by me out east on the Island, Leetch has or had a home somewhere in Long Beach, I’ve seen him a few times out there. Not all of the players live in Manhattan, and they DEFENITELY don’t live in the Bronx, Queens, or Brooklyn, gone with those ideas. There’s a lot of suburbs around here that Magnus could live in. Sather has expressed interest in him, and I don’t know if he’s gonna be here or not, but I’d love to have him.

Oh yeah? Prove it, and please put a source down.

It’s actually 3 strikes, you bumbling moron.

A total dumbass that united the NHL’s dynamic duo… hmm… and only for $8 million…

Oh yeah, I forgot. Getting good players at cheap prices is really dumb. Overpay everyone like good ol’ Glen Sather does, that’s the way to run a team. Then hire a shitty coach with no NHL head coaching experience and fire him when it’s too late.
