TSN is reporting that the Buffalo Sabres have declined to pick up J.P. Dumont’s 2.9 million arbitration award.
How are these numbers determined exactly. Is it just me or do the arbitration awards this year seem way out of wack to anybody else??

Eklund is reporting that the Rangers may be interested acquiring another D-Man this offseason. However, it looks like it isn’t going to be Brian Leetch, the Rangers are apparently showing interest in recently released David Tanabe.
