Iginla? If you see that name, or Kipp, you know the trade is full of shit. And while Gagne is not as untouchable as Forsberg, he is close.

Finally, we all know hockeybuzz is unreliable, they only get some rumors right because they make soo many damn guesses.

What the Flyers should do is trade Ed Snider for a Happy Meal and a smile.

What an absolute travesty this owner has been. There is no team here. The Flyers have been succeeded at times despite themselves, and I do not need to get into all the debacles involving Snider and his son-in-law/former GM Bobby Clarke, but his latest stunt of offering the GM Job to Colin Campbell is yet another indication that this team will not success until he is no longer affiliated with it.

How do you feel if you are the the "Interim" GM and you read in the paper just a week or so into your term, about how your owner is offering the job to someone else.

Great organizations start at the top. The same can be said for poisonous ones.

What a horrible trade for Calgary. If the Flames pull the trigger on that deal, every fan in Calgary should call for the heads of the entire Flames front office. Nothing against Gagne, but he is NOT Jarome Iginla.

I think it is still a little early for them to be looking at dumping Iginla. And if they eventually do, it won't be for Gagne. Iginla is way better than that guy. Besides, the Flames biggest problem is depth at the forward position. Swapping one for one is not going to help. Their problem is that they have maybe one line that can score.

If Calgary dumps Iginla, they are admitting that they truly suck and are destined to be a bottom feeder fo years to come. If and when they move him, it will have to be for several young guys with potential. It will not be for another big name established player. It will be rebuilding time for the Flamers.
