i don't we'll get rid of either of those guys cuz blake simply is worth disrupting that. franzen is our big man and bab***** loves him so i don't think he'll go.

I think the Sharks or Avalanche will make a pitch for Foote, that is if Columbus can't reach and extension on him but its hard to say, the Blue Jackets aren't very far out of 8th place in the West and if I were them I'd hold onto Foote whether he signs an extension or not, he's got lots of playoff experience from his Avalanche days.

This is defently the guy the Sens should be going after. Their scoring will be back when Heatley and Alfi are healthy, and hopefully they can just ride out this storm.

Not sure what u would offer, but Schubert is expendable, and they would have to send a D back, so him going the other way only makes sense.

Schubert a prospect and a 2nd or 3rd rounder should get him out of Columbus if he decides he will waive his NTC to come here.

Brian Murray better be on the phone trying to get this guy if he's willing to waive his ntc to come here, which I don't see why he wouldn't. With Foote, Phillips, and Volchenkov in the back, I'd be one happy camper.
