I understand the whole Brothers on the same team thing but really why would you take the risk on Staal when you have a two way center who can play second line in Sutter?

If you compare the trade to the Carter trade it’s pretty similar. 8th pick, Sutter, I would add Murphy and swap 2nd rounders.

It’s definitely a huge price to pay, but if they want Staal they’re going to have to give something up.
