Jagr is the best player in the world and is the best player ever to play the game. Nobody can compete to Jagr, not Gretzky, not Lemieux and not even Peter Forsberg. Think about it, five straight scoring championships, a world cup with the Czech national team at the Olympics and dekes nobody in the history of the NHL has pulled off. He single handedly lead a shit Pittsburgh team to the playoffs and made them a potent threat to any team just because of his superb natural talents. What a great player Number 68 is. They should not let any player in the NHL have his jersey number. Just like they did with Wayne Gretzky's jersey number 99. Forsberg had Sakic in Colorado and thats why he won two championships or alone he can't do shit. We'll see how far Philly goes. Let them play the Rangers so it can be a good old rivalry matchup and so Jagr can dominate Forsberg.

I see the following as a realistic trade possibility:

The Rangers exchanging Marcel Hossa, Tom Poti,and some kind of pick to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks for Petr Sykora and D-man Sandis Ozolinsh.

I believe it would be either Hossa or Ville Nieminen.

The Rangers' first lineup would then look like this:

Straka Nylander Jagr Ozolinsh Roszival

Sykora Rucchin Rucinsky Kasparaitis Kondratiev

And their PP would be awesome with the possiblity of:

Sykora Nylander Jagr Straka Ozolinsh

WOW what a team that would be.

I totally agree with what you said. Hossa is nothing like his brother marian, and is a waste of space even though he never committs any errors and plays safe he still doesn’t make any progress. They need a sniper like sykora because that would relieve pressure from Jagr since the rangers depend on him too much. Sykora and jagr would be insane together on the same team. The rangers need an extra offensive threat since they will not go anywhere if jagr is their go to guy

I have to agree with Dynamo, that trade should happen. They’ll probably ask for another player like that, maybe Taffe or someone like that, but I don’t give up anyone important for Sykora. Hossa is just a waste of space in this lineup.

It's true about the Rangers. But the team with the other half of the Czech national team is the Canadiens, with Bulis, Bonk and Plekanec...

They need offense like I need a drink, but I think they need it more from a solid scoring D than from another speedy winger, which is their only deep position.
