Therrien actually finds himself coming into a similar situation as when he did in Pittsburgh….

Young skilled team, who haven’t yet been able to come together… Missed the playoffs… Good core of young defenseman and prospects….. Strong looking forward core with some veteran leadership….great goalie…

Verrrrrry similar…. Except.. you know… Minus the whole best player in the world and all…. No big deal though!!

actually the hbs aren’t worse this time they are a better team than he had in 2000 but we we had a lot of injuries and that didn’t help our cause for the miserable season we had,plus he has price and subban on this team and he didn’t have that before,the only player left from when he was there before is markov

I think Montreal should have hired Crawford for many reasons but mainly because he knows what it takes to make it to the finals and the first go around with Therrien didnt go very well so i dont understand why they would want to try it again didnt they learn from Paul Maurice in Carolina, what has he done since coming back?

That’s ny point though…. He’s not interested in the high profile that comes with being a HEAD coach… And I mean anywhere… Phoenix, Montreal, or Florida… He likes being in the assistant role
