The Isbister and Ritchie signings are 1 year deals are they not? Clearly Nonis has a plan for next year... he is just plugging holes right now until next year when Mo and Nazzy become UFAs, then the Canucks can really be active on the FA market. Signing these guys could also mean that Morrison and Cooke could be shipped out of town.

LOL Ishbister isn't exactly a game breaker. WE need a REAL goalscorer to play on the Sedin line. With a proven goal scorer on their line, look for the sedins to break the 100 point barrier easily. Heck they hit 80 points with Pyatt on their line, imagine if they got a real goal scorer.

Imagine Cowan, Burrows and Isbister on the same line, Canucks will be dominant.

We gotta package Schneider with a contract and try and get something or free up salary.. maybe Schneider with Morrisson somewhere?

I actually like the Isbister signing.. we seem to dominate taking underachieving players and letting them breakout, ( see pyatt , carter, bertuzzi).
