They don't mean it that way, what they mean when they say that is basically there isn't another player available to them that can replace Lupul, which is true.

he was only signed because Rask is out for like 3-6 weeks because of a groin injury (can't remember exactly how long). Turco cannot play in the playoffs due to him being signed after the trade deadline so he is only a stop gap while Rask is out.

lol I love the lip service garbage players give the media. Im using this example only because Im watching the upcoming game on TSN tonight. This is in no way a shot as the Leafs in particular, just athletes in general.Question from reporter: "How does Lupul being out change the game?"Answer from player: "Well you cant replace a guy like Lupul."REALLY? You cant replace a 20g/45pt guy? REALLY? Ok sure .. this year, he is having a career year but in general, he is a 20g guy. Yeah cause he is one in a million Its like a Pens player saying "well you cant replace a guy like Kunitz." Really? You cant? I know they cant say anything different. I get it. Its just hilarious lol
