Pronger, Giguere, Hiller, Selanne, Getzlaf, Perry, Kunitz, are all locked up already through next year and Burke is already having contract talks with the upcoming UFAs, so you're wrong whether you like it or not. Deal with it

And Sundin already stated that he's willing to take a pay cut and sign with the Ducks. He's looking for the 2-3 million dollar range type money. The Ducks can demote or waive Marchant and it's DONE!

Im sorry but I dont think you understand the severity lol

The ENTIRE defence corp with the exception of Pronger is UFA

Their famous checking line of Pahlson/Rob Neidermeyer/Moen is UFA

Excluding the 2 goalies, they have 6 players under contract. The big contracts that would have to be moved in order to fit Sundin in are the only players still signed beyong the end of the season so unless they can move like 2-3 players that ARE UFAs they wont have the space for him.

I personally want to see Burke demote Morrison or Marchant to make way for Sundin. And Sundin already stated that he’s willing to take a pay cut and play for the Ducks. DO IT BURKIE

The Ducks' UFAs at the end of this season are mostly 4th liners and grinders, so it doesn't really matter. As long as their core players are signed like Getzlaf and Perry who are currently LEADING the league in points, they should be fine. GO DUCKS!

Burke is a proud man and he works in a multi billion dollar industry. You dont just take a retarded gamble like that and blow up your team without anyone (especially the owners) to take notice. I still dont see it…

Thanks and I do agree with you about the whole 4th dman and moving forward with the forward lines we have.

As for your next comment, those lines would be crazy sick but lik eyou said, everyone would still be looking at our D as a weakness at this time. Its amazing how the majority of us Hab fans (me included) noted Sundin would put us over the tp and make us able to compete with the West super teams. Now, if we got another defensive stud for that 4th spot, that would put us over the top.

That being said, even though we are 8-1-1, we need to focus on playing 60 mins of hockey. Good teams do find a way to win but I don't like how we are winning even though that is what ultimately matters.
