BAD PICK UPS LOL!!! Your team goes out and sign Hall Gill, Bates battaglia and your saying we made bad moves?, I'll admit the Gerber sign wasn’t good but I never wanted him in the first place, Emery is our man. Detroit, Anaheim amoung many teams wanted to go after Gerber for his services, how many went after Redlight Raycroft….of that’s right NONE because he was a bust and even with Chara on D they knew he couldn’t stop anything. You overpaid for a should-be-forward in Bryan Mccabe, you also paid way too much for Pavel Kubina because your GM is desperate to save his job. As far as last game is concerned you got two goal goals and you should have had the two points, chocked, and gave us the extra point, thanks for that. Although it’s not like we have to beat you though we already spanked you the last regular seasons, weren’t your fans booing them at home after one of those games this year? I bet you Leaf fans are hoping you don’t play us because when we beat you, if you ever make the playoffs again (L Such a heart breaker last year) you won’t anything else to argue and you’ll finally admit were the better team. Guys…it's a game…settle down, these are professional athletes, not your mothers or sisters that you're defending here. They can take care of themselves and don't need the rabble to stick up for them on ridiculous fansite blogs. You all sound like religious fundamentalists, give it a rest. Ottawa or Toronto will win the cup soon, until then neither team can claim to be superior (Toronto owned Ott in the playoffs of the old NHL, Ottawa has owned Toronto since the lockout ended with a 10-2-1 record in the season, these are indisputable facts, and no amount of admiring which team's players balls which you'd love to suck is gonna change that. Grow up).As for Emery, I hope Gerber wins all three games and Emery loses the starters job when he comes back. wow grassman, afraid of Neil and Mcgrattan?we didnt even dress our tough guy (Downey) for those chumps/ obviously we have enough toughness Souray, Komi etc... to take on guys like that. The koivu cross check was wrong but c'mon, pretty boy Spezza is a pest. Good luck with that Stanley Cup, but remember, you had your chance for the last 7 years. you are missing the 2 most important components. Gerber will fall apart like he did against us, and Emery doesnt have the talent to get you there.
But at least we agree on the Leafs, yes they suck and will be in OUR shadow for the rest of their Franchise future!

Just like how the announcers get fined if they say on the air what a bad call was just made.

They can't openly criticize officiating or they're fined by the league.

buddy--emery had NO business venturing out of his crease on the first goal with the trapezoid rule ineffect...johnson was able to get to the puck at the sam time and beat him for it. it wasn't a trip. goalies are going to get touched when they venture out of the crease. and maybe if anyone on the sens other than chris neil had any stones, they wouldve stopped the habs from crashing. i understand emery being frustrated, but what he did was stupid. he tried to hurt lapierre using his stick. good on him, im sure all you sens fans are marveling at how tough he is. the sad truth is that to do something like that, you have to be stupid.

funny how the only ones defending emery are sens fans.

You're an idiot. If he didn't have that visor on, his face would have been cut up. So what if he crashed the net, it looked like he tripped, no *****ing reason to intentionally attempt to seriously hurt someone. This is the NHL, not some seedy sports league. You should be very thankful that Lapierre had a visor on, orelse Emery would have been gone for the full season.
