Josh you see my friend you were right, good call man. That being said we still need a big centre and a physical shutdown dman. I like that they are playing like a team, teams succeed. Good in Carlyle and Eakins for installing a work ethic in these guys!!

Still need a better top-line center, I dont think Toronto can contend for a cup until they get one. Weiss is not the answer, you need a large, physical center to overcome Kessel's weaknesses.

Won't be an easy find.

So how good have Kadri and Frattin been. They've kept the chemistry they displayed through the Calder Cup last year and they work hard every game. Frattin clearly won't continue at his pace scoring goals, but they've given the Leafs a third legit scoring line.

This is why I was a supporter of Kadri for so long. This is also why I wanted him to play center and was adamant he played better at center then at wing. He just knows how to play there so much more than the wing. He's been aggressive, shown great vision and worked his ass off defensively.

As an aside, it's nice to see that aggressiveness through the entire roster. Only took like 3 and a half years to finally see Burke's vision for a truculent team lol.

Also random stat of the night. Mark Fraser is tied for second in plus minus in the league lol. He was on for every single Leaf goal tonight haha.

I hear what you are saying but his age fits with our team and it may cost less to acquire him. That was my train of thought

Depending on the cost I would be very interested in Brassard. I think with a fresh start he might be able to turn it around.
