Kiprusoff is way more clutch than Luongo as well and he’s just a better goalie.

I think that original Kipper trade to Washington is pretty fair. Washington shouldn’t do it though, because it would be desperate and they’ve got too many problems right now. Although a good goalie can solve a lot of problems, so its interesting.

But now Kipper is hurt anyways so who knows.

oh yeah, with an extra year he could fetch more, definitely not Holtby and 2 1sts though.

I suppose if Washington got desperate enough I could see Neuvirth, Wilson, 1st for Kipper.

The reason I made the Kipper trade as much as I did is because he has one more year on his contract. It is a lot but he would really be the only other number 1 available, besides Luongo, and he doesn’t have a lengthy contract like Luongo.

assuming Washington is looking to upgrade their goalie with a UFA vet, the deal would be Kipper for Neuvirth + 1st at best IMO. Calgary gets a young goalie back for their rental goalie and a pick, solid return. I would think Calgary gets less than that though. Who knows.

The Iginla trade there I think would be bad for Calgary. While a high end prospect, a 2nd/3rd line young forward and a 1st isn’t bad, I would want more for Iginla.
