I'm assuming that forsberg is watching a lot of hockey these days, and trying to figure out which team he could join. I hope he's noticed that the habs are playing some great hockey, they're playing with a lot of confidence, and aren't too far away from making a good run, if we win tomorrow we'll be 1 point away from the sens! and can jump to first place on tuesday! If forsberg wants to win, he'd have a good chance with the habs, but then again do we want to ruin the chemistry we currently have?

While watching the Habs-Isles game today, I couldn't help but wonder, "What could Latendresse and Sergei Kostitsyn do if they had an actual scoring Center playing with them?" And that's when Forsberg's name came to mind. I wouldn't mind having Forsberg but considering he's a shadow of his former self, I think he'd fit perfectly well with 2 up-and-comers on the 3rd line. You wouldn't even have to think of it as a 3rd line, they'd be more like a second 2nd line (no that's not a mistake). That way the Habs have 3 solid scoring lines plus on crash and bang line (Begin-Lapierre-Smolinski/Kostopoulos). Imagine having these as your Power Play forwards:

Kovalev-Plekanec-A. Kostitsyn

Higgins-Koivu-Forsberg
