    Damn…bad news for the Bruins.

Already weak defensively, they lose Girard for god knows how long. He’s no Ray Bourque, but he helps out with his speed and offensive abilities.

    Let’s hope its not serious.

Bonne chance Jonathan! Nous pensons à toi.

You are right… it is bad news. He has a lot of potential, and he has improved a lot since his first game.

But the Bruins are not weak at defense. That is argueably the deepest postion they have. O’Donnell, McGillis, Gill, Berard, Boynton, played well last year. This may give us a chance to bring up a younger guy if Girard is out too long. I think they will do just fine.

But I do wish him a speedy recovery as well.

Sorry Bruins fans but apparently it is fractured..

A friend of mine had the same kind of injury in a car crash too, it took her SEVERAL MONTHS just to get back on her feet and start walking normally again.

    Bad news.
