Consistency and experience only comes from playing. This is great experience for Halak, not only him, but for the rest of our young players. Next year Halak will back up Huet, and by mid-season we should see Carey Price.

do you think the strategy of riding inexperienced wunderkids until they collapse has been a worthwhile goalie strategy over the past 10 years?

i vote for obtaining someone consistent and experienced.

i've always been someone who would stick up for abby, but lets face it, now that hes not on a powerful colorado team he friggin blows chunks. and ive only been concinved of this in the past couple of weeks. mind you the habs dont have the srongest team out there, but still, hes been letting in some pretty week goals, so until halak falters, (which it wouldnt surprise me if its in boston on thursday, or on saturday...just because the whole team is so inconsistent), abby wont be in the nets.

and who is gonna sign him in the off season? l.a.? they like getting inconsistent goltenders ex. cloutier....
