I like it. The only Habs who must not be traded are Markov, Boullion, Koivu, Ryder, Begin, Komisarek, and the rookies. Everyone else is fair game if the return is good.

I heard about a big deal between Detroit-Atlanta-Montreal

To Detroit: Yann Danis, Mtl 1rst round pick 2006, atl 3rd round pick 2007

To Atlanta: Jose Theodore, Richard Zednik, Shledon Souray

To Montreal: Ilya Kovalchuk, Greg De Vries, Manny Legace, Detroit 7th round pick 2006

This trade will have to wait a bit because Manny is injured, but this look pretty interesting...

I just report what I heard.. so If Eklund can take a look at this.. well do it :P

yeah, you're right, keenan could be very close to a deal with the avs and still make that statement.

The article also said that keenan went on to say that he fully plans on resigning Luongo long term, and they're going to start those talks in january.

So, who knows.

Mogilny is being shopped and Washington and Toronto are interested, Reported by Eklund.

Toronto is also having discussions with St. Louis and San Jose about the availability of Defencemen Eric Brewer, Barret Jackman of St. Louis and Brad Stuart and Scott Hannan of San Jose and the approximate cost to acquire one or two of the four!
