Those horrible Senators, eh? Toronto may be playing decent hockey now but I wouldn't count your chickens before they hatch.
Toronto is even in the league, talent wise, as Ottawa, so if Ottawa is horrible what does that make Toronto?

I've always believed that this team has more talent than people think. Hence, I've been highly critical of Maurice, but it looks like he's finally got them playing a system....finally!

They are playing a smart and more polished defensive game, collapsing down low in front of Toskala whenever in trouble inside their own blueline.

And you know the defence is playing better when McCabe goes 5 games without making a big mistake. Even Woz has played better recently!

It's too bad we're maxed out on our salary cap, otherwise we could certainly use a physical defenceman for, say, a middle round pick at the deadline.

I would have to say that they will continue their ways, they seem to be over the hump and have finally chosen the number one goalie, which I believe is the reason for Toskola's confidence. The D have done a way better job, even Woz. With Coli just around the corner for return, I think they can make a good run and hopefully pick up another offensive threat somewhere down the line. GO LEAFS GO.
