the penalty was deserved though, even though Scuderi put himself into a bad position and it was his fault he got hurt Bernier had no business hitting him. He saw nothing but numbers and plowed Scuderi into the board. It is a 5 minute major IMO.

It is a shame that the game was lost after that but that’s hockey sometimes it isn’t always a game 7 overtime spectacular finish.

The reffing did get kind of bad, kind of really bad, but they didn’t set the outcome of the game.

I really don’t like that 5 minute boarding penalty that was handed out and in the end was what did New Jersey in. For that I feel the victory was tainted.

Good on LA. Brutal officiating, but good game non the less. Awesome win and probably the most dominant post season I can remember.
